Construction Foreman
J Pratt Construction is looking for an experienced foreman to add to our growing team. Be part of a company who does a wide variety of work including road construction, box culverts, retaining walls, drainage, concrete flat work, grading and much more. The possibilities are endless as we provide a dynamic skillset with projects ranging from $5,000 to $4 million.
Typical responsibilities would include the following:
- Oversee and ensure that all safety rules are being followed at all times
- Lead a crew of 1-5 people on a daily basis
- Lead and perform tasks such as grading, installing curb, installing drainage pipe and structures, conduit, concrete, etc
- Perform reports of daily work
- Occasionally run equipment such as excavators, loader, skid steer
- Year-round work employment is available for the right person with the right skillset
Job Requirements
- Must have a valid Class C License. Class A or B is a plus
- Minimum 1-3 years of construction/education experience
- High School Diploma
- Positive attitude and team player
- Self-motivated
- Ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints and ability to convey to others
- Aptitude in math and strong problem-solving abilities
- Good physical condition and stamina
